After Baikal I spent two weeks in Vladivostok, my home during the 2006-07 school year. It was so much fun to see everyone and to once again walk the streets of this incomprehensable city at the ends of the earth.

Dear Brooke! Saw your update on facebook and realized I hadn't been following your blog. Ack. But now I'm caught up. Beautiful pictures and peaceful, spare writing. How much longer are you in Russia?
